Aix-En-Provence

Oil on Canvas 100x75 (Sold)

This painting was inspired by my latest trip to the south of France. Like Paul Cézanne, I was captivated by the scenery of the Provence region and inspired by how sunlight filters through trees, creating dramatic patterns and bold shadows.

Following Cézanne's footsteps, I explored how the strong southern sun transforms ordinary scenes into geometric rhythms, with trees casting an intricate dance of shadows across the ground.
